The next meeting of the Swaby Group Parish Council is scheduled for 14th January 2026 at 7.00pm at the Village Hall. 

There will be a 15 minute maximum time for members of the public to raise matters of concern with the Council.  Once the public session has ended, members of the public may no longer speak other than to clarify a matter at the Chairman’s discretion.

1. Apologies for absence – to receive apologies and approve reasons for absence as appropriate
2. To receive any declarations of interests in agenda items.
3. To receive the notes of the meeting held 12th November 2025 and approve the Chairman’s signature
4. To note minutes of the public meeting held 14th November 2025
5. To receive any updates from that meeting
6. To receive any updates from outside bodies (ELDC/LCC)
7. To consider annual grants for Swaby & South Thoresby churchyard maintenance and grant for village hall, and if approved, to agree to include in payments (item 8 (a)) below.
8. Financial –
   1. To approve payments due
   2. To consider budget/precept request for 2026/27  
9. Any correspondence received
10. To note situation at South Thoresby Quarry and agree any action by the Parish Council.
11. To note action required for a Community Governance Review following thoughts raised at the last meeting regarding incorporating Burwell, and to resolve whether relevant and whether to pursue.
12. Planning – to consider any planning applications received (see below)
13. To consider any matters for general discussion and items for next agenda
14. To confirm date of next meeting – 11th March 2025
