The next meeting of the Swaby Group Parish Council, is scheduled for 15th January 2025 at 7.00pm   at the Village Hall. 

 

There will be a 15 minute maximum time for members of the public to raise matters of concern with the Council.  Once the public session has ended, members of the public may no longer speak other than to clarify a matter at the Chairman’s discretion.

  1. Apologies for absence – to receive apologies and approve reasons for absence as appropriate
  2. To receive any declarations of interests in agenda items.
  3. To receive the notes of the meeting held 13th November 2024 and approve the Chairman’s signature
  4. To receive any updates from that meeting
  5. To note progress with regard to VETS scheme (defibrillator) and any action required from the Parish Council. 
  6. Financial –
    1. To approve requests for annual donations from South Thoresby Church, Swaby Church and Village Hall, and agree to pay at item (b)
    2. To approve payments due
    3. To approve precept request for 2025 2026 year
  7. Any correspondence received
  8. Planning – to consider any planning applications received (see below)
  9. To consider any matters for general discussion and items for next agenda
  10. To confirm date of next meeting

 

Planning – 1753/24 – Change use barns to provide 2 holiday cottages – The Elms, Church Lane – circulated between meetings, no objections raised by members who responded.
